Hilary brings to her coaching career 20+ years of blue-chip commercial credentials, having worked in sales and marketing, technical and management roles, primarily in Retail, IT and communications and Customer Services. Most recently, Hilary has fulfilled senior director-level positions at Black & Decker and ntl (Telewest/Virgin Media) in which she shouldered responsibility for strategy, thought leadership and wide-scale culture change as well as short-term day-to-day business requirements. Common themes throughout Hilary’s career have been sales and business development and  talent and people performance, with a strong focus on business growth, operational integration strategy and cultural change.

Having lived and travelled extensively throughout Central Europe and North America , Hilary is bi-lingual and has a natural empathy for diverse cultures and circumstances.


With more than ten years’ experience in an executive coaching role, Hilary is incredibly tuned into her clients, sensing what they need and supporting what is important when motivating them to follow through to the right action With Hilary, the onus is on real business problems: she takes a pragmatic approach to translating focus issues into realism and action. Her extensive and multi-tiered commercial background strengthens her ability to build and drive strategy when working with clients and translate coaching outcomes into an operational context to gain buy-in and action.

Hilary sees her role as challenging the status quo: inspiring clients to think differently and building on their strengths in order to grow their confidence, help face their blind spots and fears, and ultimately bring about real change. Interventions have a powerful and sustaining impact on her clients and behaviours and importantly, individuals report creating sustainable results within their organisations following the coaching. What she enjoys most is sourcing root causes, witnessing major transitions as well as the unexpected wins along the way and seeing her coaching clients walk away from a session focused and determined, with a hunger to overcome obstacles.
